John 11:53-55

⁵³ From that day forth they took counsel together about how to put him to death. ⁵⁴ Jesus therefore no longer walked openly among the Jews, but went his way from there to a region near to a wilderness, into a village called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.

⁵⁵ And the Jews’ Passover was at hand, and many people went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the Passover, to purify themselves.
